To God be the Glory! Without Jesus we can do nothing! God has sent us out into the world to be used as instruments in His Hands. Being used by Jesus is an honor and a privilege. He equips and empowers us to do the works which He calls us into.
Our First Arrow
He Loves Jesus. Always willing to serve, willing to help, and willing to try nearly anything to take the Gospel of Jesus to the lost world; Maidar is the first to be sent in our partnership with Mongolian Believers.
God brought him into our team in 2013 when he served as our translator, helping us to distribute the Word of God. His heart and calling to evangelism blessed our team; which has led to 10 years of work together. You will see Maidar in many of our pictures from past efforts because he has led many, many teams to reach the remote peoples.
The very first trip that Maidar took for Bowman Ministries was to a large Buddhist ritual taking place under a distant mountain. One of the mountains that the entire nation would travel to. Equipped with Bibles, Gospels of Mark, and Gospel Tracts Maidar journeyed many days alongside other pilgrims. Along the way He talked with all manner of people about Jesus. As a former Buddhist himself; he is able to explain why they should leave Buddhism behind and come to know the one true and living God. Maidar's bold evangelistic work proved to us that he needed to be our first supported team leader.

The Holy Spirit equips Maidar to reach out and touch people of all ages. This young man was trekking up the mountain in a Buddhist procession, until Maidar interceded. The young man left with the Word of God, the plan of salvation, an introduction to Jesus and prayer for his life. Our support team lifted him before the Lord. Where is he now? Pray for him. God knows him. As you look at the people in these pictures pray for them. God know where they are right now, this very second.

The carved idol stands behind them. Two unsuspecting young ladies are encouraged to turn away from being a part of this evil worship. They are encouraged to seek Jesus. Is this not the love of God?! Reaching out to protect them from evil spirits and darkness that they are completely unaware of. How strange it must have seemed to have an English speaking Mongolian encouraging them to have nothing to do with Buddhism. Our Great Shepherd intercedes for us! Praise Jesus.
An Elderly Man Looks for Blessing
Only the Lord knows the days which are prepared for us. As this elderly man makes the hard journey to the mountain in the background, you can imagine the blessings he is seeking.
It's God's Love to meet that man in the midst of his journey and place the saving message of the Gospel into his hands. The Mongolian people receive The Word with JOY! It is very, very rare for them to ever refuse it. They appreciate the care that someone shows them, the Love of God that is shown to them. They are a very open people. Please pray for that open heart to continue!
Going to the Buryadt in Siberia with Bibles
Three Arrows ~ Maidar, Tumuruu, and Enkush
Enkush was our first mission partner in Mongolia, before she was married to Tumuruu. She is fluent in English, and her smile opens many doors to share the Love of God with people.
Bowman Ministries was able to send these three servants of Jesus to the Buryadt People; an ancient tribe of Mongolians who created their own nation which was enveloped by the Soviets, and remains in Russia. The Mongolian team was able to share the Word of God with the family to the left, a teaching that they had never heard. Over the course of the trip many would receive the Word of God with great joy.

The Bowman team reaches the forbidden city by the direction of the Holy Spirit. They are able to travel through the land with great freedom because they are Mongolians. God show us why the partnership with the Mongolians is so important.
Bible Pictograph Shirt
The danger of sharing printed Bibles is so extreme in Tibet that it could lead to imprisonment or even death. The team prayed and felt that God was leading them to share a beautiful pictograph, brightly printed on a white t-shirt. It depicts the entire Gospel from Creation to the Cross, to Jesus ruling and reigning. The team shared the shirt and it's message with all those gathered around the Buddist Temple. As former Buddhists they were able to find their way through many parts of the temple and pray against the stronghold which it has had over the Tibetan People, and the Peoples of Asia.

Reaching the Amdo Nomads of Tibet
The Amdo Nomadic peoples live at 16,000 feet elevation with their hers of Yaak. Hidden behind the iron curtain of communism, these people are very hard to reach. Thankfully, God made a way for Maidar and Oko to make the dangerous journey. They were warmly greeted because the Amdo recognized that Mongolians are also a nomadic people. Indeed the Mongolian Evangelists could understand every part of the Amdo culture; so much so, that within two days they were calling Maidar "grandpa Maidar" and leaving him to watch the children so that everyone else could get to work preparing for winter. This is the great wisdom which God has shown in sending the Mongolians to the remote unreached peoples of Asia. Please continue to pray for the Amdo.

The "Towa" or Tuvaan Reindeer Peoples
There are several People Groups in Northern Mongolia, Southern Russian/Siberia whose lives are centered around their Reindeer. They use them for travel, riding them and packing them both. They are used for food, both meat and milk; especially for the production of kiefer/yogurt. This is a daily food staple which the people eat, and feed back to the Reindeer as well. All of the Reindeer People Groups, like the Tuvaan/Towa live their lives at high elevation. Much of the year is lived at 10,000 ft. elevation. They live in the traditional home which we would know as a T-Pee in North America. Bowman Ministries has been privileged to send the Word of God with several teams traveling to the Reindeer Peoples.
The Tuvaan have received Jesus! Members of the Reindeer People have joined our teams of Evangelists to be sent out to others! Pray for these young Christians who are the first of their clans.

JESUS LOVES THE PEOPLE OF MONGOLIA
We are committed to an ongoing outreach to the Nomadic Peoples of Mongolia. The Horsemen, Shepherds, and all those living in the wide expanses of the "countryside", as it is known. We travel the vastness of the countryside looking for anyone who Jesus would direct us to talk to.
Jesus led us to some shepherds sitting high above their flocks who are in the plains below. They happily recieved the Word of God and allowed us to pray over their lives. Where are they today? God knows. Will you pray for them?

The Bright Colors of the Kazakh
Scattered across the Steppe of Mongolia, you will find bands of Kazakh Shepherds. They are nominal Muslims, claiming it as their religion, but also open to discuss matters of faith. Jesus has opened many doors for our teams to share the Good News of Jesus with the Kazakh people. They are extremely grateful when they are given copies of God's Word. Many of the Kazakh Nomads have received Jesus, but they are a small minority among their own People Group. Pray for them to have a strong and bold faith among their Kazakh family and friends. May Jesus work through them to reach back into their homeland in Kazakhstan, and beyond!
Pray for Kazakh Christians to be used in the Hands of God to reach people following Islam.
They have the scriptures. Pray for God to give them a HUNGER for His Word. Pray for the Word of God to come alive to them!

The Gospel of Jesus Reaches the Kazakh EAGLE HUNTERS
Steeped in centuries of tradition, the Kazakh Eagle Hunters are not an easy people to reach. Some of our team members have prayed over them for 30 years, asking God to prepare and open their hearts to the Truth of His Word. In 2019 The Word of God was delivered to them. Our team had favor with an Eagle Hunter family and the men were even allowed to hold the man's Golden Eagle, only possible by wearing his clothing. Please pray that the Bibles in the hands of these families will be used, loved, and that God would remind them to pick them up and read them every day.

God Directs Us to Malawi, Africa
Through a Divine Word given, we were told of a great thirst. A land that was dry, wind-swept, and in a drought. They needed the WATER OF THE WORD! When we called and talked to one of the lead pastors in the nation of Malawi, he told us that they had been praying and fasting for three months; asking God for BIBLES. You can imagine his excitement when a guy from Montana calls and says that God has told the group in Montana to provide him with 400 Bibles. It was a lot of hooping and Hallelujahs, tears, and dancing.
It's our great privilege to provide people with the greatest treasure on the face of the earth - The Word of God. Pastor Emmanuel informed us that there were many pastors of Churches who did not have Bibles; leaders of the Church did not have The Word of God. The People of God, did not have a copy of His Word. The pictures here, are from our first distribution, but we have been able to send more scriptures since 2020, and we will continue to do so.

God Calls Bowman Ministries To Relocate - Garrison, Montana
When God moves through His people the Kingdom of God is advanced! Through our move we have been so blessed by these two Sisters in Christ! Elizabeth made a way for us to purchase our new home in Garrison that was a true blessing, and in the process we met her good friend Anastasia. Anastasia had worked in the mission field for decades, and once Elizabeth introduced her to us, it was clear that we had a new mission partner!

New Chapter - New Nations - New Fruit
We had just spent 7 years building our home in Eureka when the Lord directed us to the property in Garrison. The cabin wasn't in great shape, you could look out every wall and see air, but we knew with all our souls that it was the place Jesus wanted us to live. Tammi and I could never have imagined the rest of the story! One reason for our move was to live as simply as possible so that we could serve God through Bowman Ministries as He has called us to reach many more Remote People Groups. Only the Lord could know how our move would lead us into those next steps for the ministry.
Our dear sister Anastasia Ealy, whom we met through the purchase of our land, had so many new connections for us - all of which were among the nations and Peoples that the Lord was calling us to expand into. How incredible is it that one connection with one person could be so perfect. She has an understanding of Mongolia, the Kazakh Eagle Hunters, the nation of Nepal, and most interestingly the People of Kabardia in SouthWestern Russia - a People Group that the Lord Jesus directed us to when we didn't even know one thing about them, and now we were connected with someone who had traveled among them as a guest. A truly miraculous connection.
Beyond the new connections to reach many more Remote People Groups, we were led to plant a Church right here in Garrison. The Garrison Bible Fellowship started in 2021, and we are now looking to grow into a much larger ministry - Mission Montana.
We now understand at least some of why the Lord moved us; why He guided us to a specific property, and why He has continued to direct our connections and fellowship - HE IS ADVANCING HIS KINGDOM! Bowman Ministries is not just about people in foreign lands, it's also about the people here. The people of Montana, and many other states, are now being used as THE BOW to send God's ARROWS! God puts His People together to accomplish His Eternal Purposes!

Prakash is raising up the next generation of Christian workers in Nepal. He leads outreach efforts with young Believers who also want to take the Gospel out to those who have not yet heard the Good News.

Prakash leads a team to the Musahar
Jesus loves the lowly, the downtrodden, the least of humanity. Musahar means "rat eater". In their society they are the lowest cast. Many live as slaves; working in brick factories to pay debts that will never be paid. Their children become enslaved by the debts of the parents.
Through a series of Divinely opened doors, Prakash and his team were allowed to bless a community of Musahar slaves working in a brick factory. The town leader and owner of the people were Muslims, and they agreed to have the team minister to the Musahar families. God also called another Christian family to come and minister in this village; reaching out to the Muslim community and the Musahar. Bowman Ministries was privileged to send the Word of God to the Musahar, that they might know the LOVE OF JESUS!
PLEASE PRAY FOR THE MUSAHAR - MAY THE JOY OF FREEDOM IN JESUS GIVE THEM A HOPE AND FUTURE!

Pray for Prakash
As Prakash makes disciples who are learning to climb the mountains of the Himalays with the Word of God, he needs our prayers. Where will he go next? Who shall go with him? How shall Bowman Ministries provide and partner with him? All of these are matters of constant prayer.
We have been so blessed to work with this young man who loves Jesus so much. Below are pictures from the many trips he has taken in recent years. Hundreds of Bibles have been distributed, and many have accepted Jesus as Lord & Savior.

The Mountain Walker
Durbasha
The Himalayan Mountain are vast and beautiful. Hidden among the thousands of drainages and valleys of these mountains are small villages of Remote People Groups. Some are many days walk from the nearest road. Durbasha Luitel has been called by God to walk to the Remote Peoples of every district of Nepal.
This Brother in Christ has such a heart to serve Jesus. He has preached the Gospel to over 500,000 of his countrymen, and delivered thousands of copies of God's Word to the same. Durbasha, and those that work with him, often carry cases of Bibles, New Testaments, and Tracts on their backs as they climb the lofty Himalayas.
God has blessed us to be able to send Durbasha out with the Holy Scriptures. He is a valued partner in the work of the Kingdom. Please pray that he will be able to reach the last 19 districts in these next 2 years. He has reached 58 of 77 so far.

The Lord Jesus is gathering His Flock, His Family into the fold. One day we will be gathered together as One Flock with One Great Shepherd.

The Raute Nomads of Nepal
Durbasha and his team have been blessed to have access to the Raute Nomadic Peoples. This People and the surrounding area have not always been friendly to outsiders, especially teaching new religious beliefs. Please pray for Durbasha to have ongoing favor with this People Group.

May The Word Have It's Perfect Effect
What shall the result be? With thousands of copies of God's Word now salted throughout the Himalayas, what might happen? A fire of revival? How many souls may be saved? How many people might learn from just one copy of the Holy Scriptures? Consider all of these questions. Pray over all of these questions! Intercede for the peoples as they have come to possess the Truth of The Living God.
Pray that Durbasha's preaching and teaching will be filled with the anointing of the Holy Spirit, and that many will be saved. We pray that God will raise up a new generation of Christians in Nepal that will be sent out to all the regions surrounding them. Pray for God's protection and safety as they go.
PAKISTAN
A Young Lion For Jesus
Laraib Andrew has such a passion to do the Lord's work. Always pushing to accomplish the next task, the next mission, or to make the most of an open door or opportunity. This young man has been such a blessing to Bowman Ministries. We had prayed for several years that God would lead us to a young man in Pakistan who would be brave and courageous. We prayed that Jesus would provide us a ministry partner that had the wisdom and boldness to take the Word of God to the most difficult parts of Pakistan. God has answered our prayers, and we have been blessed to send our brother Laraib Andrew out with both Audio Bibles and printed Bibles.
Pray for Laraib Andrew as he serves the Lord Jesus in a hostile land. Laraib Andrew and his family are doing many works to help the communities around them. Providing care for widows & orphans, children's ministry, water well projects, and many more good works. Laraib Andrew is having an impact in Pakistan.
Our world needs young people with a passion to serve. When they do, we need to cover them in prayer.
Pakistan is at the center of the unreached world.
Every opportunity to preach the Word of God, each opportunity to reach the 230 million lost souls of Pakistan is precious. We need to see an army of God's faithful workers raised up to reach the millions who have no understanding of God's Love for them.

Pakistan Is In The Red.
When you begin to look at the statistical analysis for Pakistan, you will realize that it is a much larger nation than most people in the Western world realize.
Over 236 million people that need Jesus. 844 Unreached People Groups. How many workers will it take to reach them all? Only Jesus knows, but Jesus will reach every single People Group before He comes again.
On the lower map you can see the demographics in play. Massive concentrations of Islamic and Hindu populations. Laraib Andrew is right in the center of this densely populated region that has very, very few Christians. PLEASE HELP US SEND THE WORD OF GOD OUT INTO THIS REGION! WE HAVE PRAYED FOR A BOLD WORKER, AND THE LORD HAS PROVIDED. HELP US TO SEND HIM OUT WITH THOUSANDS OF COPIES OF GOD'S WORD.
Christians in Pakistan are supressed and marjinalized.
Followers of Jesus are pushed down economically, socially, and politically. Believers are pushed out of good jobs if there is a Muslim to replace them. They are kept from taking any work from a Muslim, even if that work is only basic labor. Every available Muslim will be hired before a Christian, and if a Christian is hired they are paid substantially less. Christians have no rights in society and can be attacked, robbed, beaten, and stolen from without reproach. This was seen in 2023 as Muslims raided 26 churches and 52 Christian homes; throwing all of their posessions out into the street and lighting them on fire. They burned every Bible they found, and defiled the Church buildings, but the Pakistani Church was very strong, posting words of encouragement on the charred walls of the Church buildings. Bowman Ministries felt led of the Lord Jesus to replace the Bibles immediately. The Word of God had been stripped from them, but Jesus was sending it back as quickly as it had been taken. Praise Jesus!

The Christian Church is only 1.5% of the population of Pakistan, but the Muslims are attacking them for fear that the message of Jesus Christ will grow and sweep through their land. There is a spiritual battle, but the Church is growing not shrinking! Pray for Pakistan.
Jesus Replaces The Word Which Was Stolen
The Word of God provides us with the Truth. It's no wonder that those being used by the devil to attack God's People would burn every Bible they could find. The Word of God is a threat to them, and they seek to suppress the Truth of the Gospel.
Praise the Lord Jesus that through miraculous provision He has sent His Word back to His People!

Sending The Word To Southern Siberia
There are dozens of People Groups that live in Siberia. The land is vast and the people are generally spread out across the sparsely populated landscape. There are very, very few that have any idea of Jesus's Love. In fact, "Orthodax Christians" brought death in the early 1900's; killing 10,000 Bruyadt in ethnic cleansing. Since then, the people of this land have hated "Christians" for what they had done. Only now, through the Loving message being brought by Mongolian and Buryadt Followers of Jesus, the people are finally understanding the True message that God has from them.

Working with the young Buryadt Church
Bowman Ministries Team Leader Maidar Davaa felt led to go and meet the members of a new Church being established in Southern Siberia. Maidar had reached out to the Buryadt people for several years, but this was the first time he has heard of a Bible believing Church being raised up in the region. Maidar was thrilled to meet Pastor Munkhoo and many others who have come to faith in recent years. God is raising up His Church in Southern Siberia! Bowman Ministries was thrilled to provide this young Church with Bibles, New Testaments, and Tracts. Please pray for the young Church in Southern Siberia.
This young Buryadt Church has a heart and a calling to take the Gospel of Jesus out to the streets.
Some of the Believers in the new Church among the Buryadt have only been saved for two or three years, but they have a heart to be used by God. It's an answer to our prayers as our Bowman Ministries Worldwide Team has lifted this people before the Lord for many years.
May God bless this young Church and their Pastor Munkhoo. Please Pray for them to have great influence in the land of Siberia, and all of the places that Jesus will send them.

Five Ancient Mongolian Nations Join Together To Serve Jesus For The 1st Time

OUR STORY
The Kalmyk left Mongolia over 500 years ago.
Kalmyk means "they stayed" or "those who stayed" in the ethnic languages of Southwest Russia. The Kalmyk peoples are the Oirat Clan of Mongolians. They traveled to the plains above the Caspian Sea, conquering the region, and establishing their own land of Kalmykia. This nation is the largest Buddhist nation in all of Europe. The Buddhist temple in the capital city of Elista is the largest of it's kind in the region. Forty-two percent (42%) of Kalmyk people are adherent to Buddhism.

Pray that the Kalmyk will turn away from Buddhism and choose to Follow Jesus. Pray for the Truth of salvation through Jesus to be spread through Kalmykia.
God Knows How To Reach The Heart
Each historical Clan of Mongolians has a music that is unique to them, but they share close similarities. As the team of 5 ancient Mongolians came together to reach the Kalmyk; they realized that the common connection through music could be used to a great advantage. The team began to practice, learning traditional songs and Christian Worship songs written by some of the team members. Holy Spirit used music to be the core of their outreach. It was a great success!

Pray that the ancient clans of Mongolians will continue to work together to reach remote People Groups.
The team of 5 Mongolian Christian Clans is the first of it's kind. Many of these clans had ZERO Christians just 10 years ago. Now that they have come together to serve, PLEASE pray that they will continue to grow in Christ's work. Pray for UNITY! Pray that Jesus will continue to use them as Brothers and Sisters in Christ. The ancient Kalmyk people rejoiced to have their distant brothers come to them. It was like a long awaited reunion. May the Lord raise up many more teams to go out to the Remote People Groups of Siberia and Eurasia.

Pastor Munkhoo discoved two small church functioning in Elista. The team was able to encourage these small groups of Christians, and Bowman Ministries was able to send funding for the purchase of Bibles for their Churches. Please pray that these two Churches will be able to work together, and that God will use them to advance His Kingdom in their nation.
Delivery! Bibles to the Reindeer People
My dear brother and Mission Partner Tumursukh Odongerel makes a special delivery of Bibles, New Testmants, and Gospels for the Towa (Tuvaan). The journey was divinely directed and provided for. Tumuruu has so many great testimonies of how the Lord Jesus worked to make the delivery of His Word possible in the middle of winter, during extreme cold.
The Word of God is with them. Pray Holy Spirit lead them into ALL TRUTH! May salvation spread through the Reindeer People!
Brothers in Christ work to spread the Word across Mongolia
It's such a blessing to work with brothers and sisters in Christ who value the Word of God! In August of 2023 hundreds of scriptures were distributed. The picture to the right is just some of the cases and cases of Bibles to be given out by the leading of the Holy Spirit.
We truly believe that Jesus speaks powerfully through His Word. His Word has the power to change people's lives. Transformation comes by knowing the promises of God.
The Towa/Tuvaan are a nomadic people, so the Bibles that they now hold can be taken to many other regions of Southern Siberia and the Altai Mountains of Northwestern Mongolia. To say that they are a remote people is an understatement. Praise Jesus for making a way to send His Word to this People Group. Pray for the Reindeer Peoples.
What could happen if just one Towa was born again and on fire for Jesus???
How might the Lord Jesus use such a special nomadic person? There are so many remote peoples in the region of Siberia, the Himalayas, and the Caucasus Mountains; could Jesus use these rugged mountain people to reach the last unreached peoples?? May it be Lord Jesus! Pray for them!
