The Body of Christ is composed of many members with each member being uniquely called, gifted, and equipped to accomplish the works which Jesus prepared for them to do well in advance. We all have a mission to accomplish.
It's with great joy that I share some of the members of our team. Over the course of the last decade, Jesus has brought many, many people into our circle. His eternal purposes, goals, and mission are at the heart of our network. It's all about His Kingdom, His agenda. Bowman Ministries is a non-denominational work. We work with Christians from all over the world, each one purchased by the Blood of Jesus Christ; and because of that Blood-bought connection we are family. Our concern is to advance the Kingdom of God into People Groups who are still lost; separated from God, having no knowledge of His Truth. Our team experiences a sense of unity and love that allows us to be support and encouragement for one another.
We are one flock with one Shepherd.
The Church is comprised of all the redeemed. It's God's People who have chosen to follow Jesus - that's the Church which Jesus has purchased with His own Blood. It's with this simple truth in mind that we work together as Followers of Jesus; not to advance a particular religious institution or segment of religious ideology, but with the mission in mind...

A Chosen Team
Bowman Ministries is a network of Jesus Followers. Brothers and Sisters in Christ, whom Jesus has connected for the sake of His Kingdom work. There are hundreds of people from all over the world who are a part of the Bowman Ministries Worldwide Team. JESUS IS OUR LEADER - HE IS THE HEAD OF THE CHURCH, as a family of fellow Believers, we seek and acknowledge His leadership and direction over all that we do.
Eph 4:15-16 but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.

Meet The Michels
Jonah, Tammi, & Justin
The Michels family have a passion for the outdoors, farming, and exploring their home State of Montana. Their family history in the state goes back to the time of the western frontier. Living close to the land has served the Michels well. Raising sheep, chickens, gardens, and harvesting wild fruits and animals provides a bountiful harvest; but it also helps them to connect with the remote peoples that they reach out to around the world and at home in Montana.
Living a simple life in rural Montana has allowed the Michels to serve Jesus with as little overhead and expense as possible. God called them to purchase an abandoned far in Garrison, Montana in 2020. Shortly after arriving, Jesus called them to plant a Church in the area. Pastor Justin leads the Garrison Bible Fellowship in Bible teaching each week.
20 years of Ministry ~ A Love for the Word of God
A Calling To Send The Word Of God TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH
Justin was first called to be a pastor in 2003, little did he know that his calling would go beyond leading a local congregation. Ultimately the Lord Jesus would call him to reach out to the Mongolian Horseman with a specific message, and later to partner with the Mongolian Church to send the Word of God out to even more remote people groups.
Pastor Michels served in three different churches in Montana, the last pastorate in Eureka, Montana lasting over 12 years. The Eureka Church of God was the birthplace of Bowman Ministries. The mission minded congregation watched the God open the doors to reach remote people groups and have supported countless works to send Bibles to the Lost.
Justin's wife Tammi has been at his side in all of life's adventures; and his son Jonah was able to travel to Mongolia when he was just 9 years old. Justin, Tammi, and Jonah have all served in a family effort to follow the Lord's calling.
In 2020 Jesus called Justin to step away from the pastorate in Eureka and work full time in the Kingdom efforts of Bowman Ministries. The family sold the farm in Eureka and were led to purchase an abandoned farm in Garrison, which they have now rebuilt. The purchase of the farm was a miraculous divine appointment that added key team leaders to Bowman Ministries.
A Word From Director Michels...
I'm only the "director" in earthly terms; Jesus is the true Director of all Bowman Ministries Operations. He provides for every team outreach. He provides for the purchase of every Bible. Jesus provides for my family so that I might serve Him, working to accomplish His Eternal Purposes.
Joh 15:4 "Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me.
Joh 15:5 "I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.
Pray, pray, and pray some more. That's the way that the ministry is advanced. I look to Jesus to guide every effort. Who is the next People Group to be reached with the Word?? Where do we need to reach out to find a new ministry partner that can reach a new region?? God has been faithful to provide answers to every question. It's His work, we are His fellow-workers in His Field, and our only desire is to follow His clear direction.
A very important part of that direction is to focus on His Holy Word. People MUST be given the Truth of His Word. To feed a people, to clothe them, to minister to them in any way - and not give them the Word is a tragedy. If the Lord calls us to provide relief or humanitarian aid - it is always accompanied with His Word!
Jesus fuels the work of the ministry through an amazing network of brothers and sisters in Christ. Tammi, Jonah, and I cannot to the work alone; it takes a massive network of partners. We want to thank each Church Congregation who has partnered with us. We thank each individual person who helps us to continue in ministry. It takes a team! Thank you all.

Bowman Ministries is able to function efficiently because of the immediate access that we have with all of our team members. Director Justin Michels is able to be in constant communication with team 24/7/365. Needs, updates, prayer time, strategy meetings, and every detail of the ministry is able to conducted with speed and ease. Various communication networks are used in different regions, but the fact is, we live in a time of connectivity. Bowman Ministries uses this for the advancement of the Kingdom of God.
